Ali SABANCI

Chairman

Born in 1969 in Adana, Turkey, Ali Sabancı graduated in from Tufts University (USA) in 1991 with a degree in Politics and Economics. He began his career as a financial analyst for Morgan Stanley where he worked for two years. After leaving Morgan Stanley he went back to study and received his MBA in International Finance from Columbia Business School in 1995.

Upon his return to Turkey, Mr. Sabancı worked as a specialist at the Bahçekapı branch of Akbank until 1996, where he was appointed Assistant Manager. In 1997, Mr. Sabancı began his career at H.Ö. Sabancı Holding A.Ş as Head of Projects, and in June 2001, he was appointed Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, eventually leaving in March 2004.

Mr. Sabancı has been chairman of Pegasus Airlines since March 2004. He is also a board member at the company's affiliates Promed A.Ş., Alarm A.Ş. and Orya A.Ş.. He is also the Chairman of Esaslı Gıda A.Ş. and is a member of TÜSIAD, İSO, DEİK, TAİK and TABA. Mr. Sabancı is married with two children and speaks fluent Turkish, English and German.

Sertaç HAYBAT

General Manager and Member of The Board

Born in 1952 in Istanbul, Turkey, Sertaç Haybat graduated from the University of Manchester (UK) in 1976 with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. After completing his military service in the Turkish Air Force in 1979, he began his career in the airline industry as the Maintenance Manager for Bursa Airlines. In 1982, he took up a position with Turkish Airlines' (THY) engineering team. After five years, he was appointed Maintenance Manager of Bosphorus Air Transport. In 1989, he returned to THY and worked in various positions, first as Strategic Planning and Investments Manager, then Marketing Director and finally as Sales Director for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Mr. Haybat was a partner at the Seser Travel Agency between 1993 and 1997, after which he rejoined THY as a member of the Executive Management Team responsible for Finance and Corporate Planning. He was also a board member of Sun Express until 2003, which is the THY-Thomas Cook charter airline joint venture.

Mr. Haybat oversaw the acquisition of Pegasus by Esas Holding at the end of 2004. He is currently the General Manager and a Board Member of Pegasus. He also provides tourism and airline investment consultancy services to Esas Holding.

Mr. Haybat is married with two children and speaks Turkish, English and French.

Çağatay ÖZDOĞRU

Member of the Board

Born in Istanbul in 1966, Çağatay Özdoğru graduated from Saint Benoit French Lycée in 1985. In 1989, he received his degree from Istanbul Technical University in Electronic and Communications Engineering, followed by a Telecommunications Higher Engineering degree from George Washington University in 1991. In 1995, Mr. Özdoğru completed a Higher Degree in Modern Management Techniques, a collaborative program of the University of Maine and Marmara University.

Çağatay Özdoğru began his career in 1991 in the US and went on to work at Koç-Unisys between 1992 and 1994. Following various engineering and sales and marketing positions at IBM Turkey between 1995 and 1996, he was appointed Turkey Sales Director of Global One between 1997 and 2001, after which he was appointed General Manager of Turkey and Regional Vice-President of Russia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Between 2002 and 2005, Mr. Özdoğru was President of Information and Telecommunications for Sabancı Holding. He has also been Vice President of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of TurkNoktaNet, Akinternet and I-Bimsa. He has also been appointed founding General Manager and Vice President of the Board of Sabancı Telekom.

In June 2005, Mr. Özdoğru became a member of the Executive Board of Esas Holding and is Managing Director of affiliate companies Medline, Promed and Medair. He is also a Member of the Board at Pegasus Airlines.

Mr. Özdoğru sits on the Managing Board of the Turkish Informatics Foundation and the Propeller Club. He is also a member of the National Advisory Council of George Washington University's faculty of Engineering and Applied Knowledge.

Mr. Özdoğru is married and has two children and speaks Turkish, French and English.

Emre BERKİN

Emre Berkin owns and runs an independent consulting practice focused on international business development, mergers and acquisitions, funding and investments. His typical clients are institutional and private investors, including Private Equity and Venture Capital funds, as well as enterprises aiming to expand geographically or companies looking for funding to grow their businesses.

Emre Berkin is regarded as an expert in doing business in emerging markets, especially the Middle East and Africa. He is a frequently sought after speaker and consultant on topics related to emerging markets, running a business internationally, and corporate life and leadership.

Emre also serves as a director on boards of various companies and funds in Turkey and abroad, as well as several NGOs.

Emre Berkin had a 13 year career at Microsoft starting in 1993. As the founding General Manager of Microsoft Turkey, Emre was credited for making Turkey one of Microsoft's fastest growing subsidiaries worldwide. When he left Microsoft, he was the Vice President for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the Chairman of Microsoft's Middle East and Africa (MEA) operations. Emre had an overall responsibility for 79 countries. In his role as VP, Emre was recognized for accelerating the growth and expansion of Microsoft's operations in the Middle East and Africa. He was also known for working closely with key government leaders as well as industry partners and customers to enable governments, citizens and businesses to benefit from the information technology revolution. Besides his commitment to the development and deployment of IT, Emre showed a strong passion for education in the developing countries. He personally led Microsoft's community affairs efforts through which Microsoft had contributed to various community activities improving education and helping underprivileged people in the region over the years.

Prior to Microsoft, Emre Berkin was with Digital Equipment Corporation. During his 10 year career with Digital, including six years in the United States and four years in Turkey, Emre managed sales, consultancy, support and service organizations.

Emre holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University in Ankara and a Master of Science degree from DePaul University in Chicago.

Michael Charles LEE

Michael Lee began his career in the airline industry in 1965 with British Airways, which he left in 1983 to join the then newly-founded British Caledonian Airways as Finance Manager. After working as Commercial Manager and Managing Director, Mr. Lee was appointed Chairman of the Committee of the Aviation Division, Aircraft Engineering and Security Measures of My Travel Group. He was Director of the UK's National Air Traffic Control Services between 2001 and 2003.

Osman ÜNSAL

Born in 1954 in Anamur, Osman Unsal completed his middle and high school studies at Tarsus American College and Robert College. He went on to study at the faculty of Management Administration at Bogazici University. Having completed his graduate studies at Pennsylvania State University, Mr. Ünsal began his career at Citibank Turkey, where he worked in various positions before leaving as Vice President.

He has since worked in various senior positions at Interbank, Etibank, the State Planning Department and the Foreign Capital Markets Board, including roles in the Treasury and Foreign Trade Departments. Mr. Ünsal was appointed a Member of the Board of Turkish Eximbank before taking up his new role for Sabanci Holding companies, including Pilsa and Dupontsa, as coordinator and Chief Financial Officer. He was a member of the boards of Sasa and various other European companies until 2000, when he took a sabbatical to complete a Corporate Finance degree at the London Business School and an advanced management program degree from Oxford University.

In 2008, Mr. Ünsal was appointed CEO and Member of the Board of Esas holding.

Mr. Ünsal is married with two children and speaks Turkish and English.

İNAN TANRIÖVER

İnan Tanrıöver was born in 1956 in Samsun. He studied marketing at the Faculty of Economics and Commercial Sciences of Ege University. His career started following his graduation in 1977 as a Trade Finance expert at T.C. Ziraat Bank. He worked at T.C. Ziraat Bank until the year 2001. While on duty at the bank, he was appointed twice to London, between 1987-1992 and between 1996-2001. Mr. Tanriöver has worked as the Country Manager for the United Kingdom and as a Board Member at the Deutsche Turkish Bank in Frankfurt (a 50% Deutsche Genossenschaft Bank, 50% Ziraat Bank joint venture). In 2001, he joined Sabancı Holding after leaving from his post. He worked until 2006 as the International Trade Finance Director of the Holding's International Trade Group in London. After his return to Turkey, he was appointed Board Member of Şekerbank T.A.S.

Tanrıöver became the CFO of Esas Holding in June 2007.

Mr. Tanrıöver has a good command of English. He is married and has two children.

Ray WEBSTER

Ray Webster has gained over 27 years of experience in the airline industry at Air New Zealand, where he began his career. He held various positions within the engineering business unit, formed Air New Zealand's cargo business unit and was responsible for marketing, sales and operations within US markets. His last role at Air New Zealand was as General Manager of Strategic Planning, where he was responsible for the identification, evaluation and implementation of corporate development options, including the concept, development and planning of a start up low-cost airline serving short-haul routes within the Australasian market.

In March 1996, Mr. Webster joined easyJet as Managing Director, and in 2000 he was appointed Chief Executive as the airline prepared for its flotation on the London Stock Exchange in November 2000. He resigned from easyJet in November 2005.
