Entry Requirements

People who hold a Service (Grey) or Special (Green) passport will not be permitted to travel to Germany for touristic visits or the purpose of visiting friends. Only passengers who meet one of the conditions listed below are permitted to travel to Germany:

• German citizens,
• Germany residence permit holders,
• EU citizens,
• EU residence permit holders
• EU D-type visa holders,
• Germany visa holders issued after 17 March 2020.
• Unmarried partners of nationals and residents of Germany, who are carrying a relationship declaration form,

• Non-EU / Schengen nationals with C-type visas or the family members (only mothers, fathers and siblings) of Grey/Green (service/special) Turkish passport holders in urgent cases where supporting documents are provided as proof (death, wedding or birth certificates etc.):

         o   Attending funerals & weddings,

         o   Parents whose children under the age of 18 live in Germany,

         o   Those who are accompanying their own German husband or wife,

         o   Those who are accompanying their own German children,

• Non-EU / Schengen nationals with C-type visas or Grey/Green (service/special) Turkish passport holders in case of important business reasons (such as sales contracts or maintenance of industrial products), excluding the participation at meetings, provided that they have documents approved by the company in Germany during their travels,
• Residents of Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Thailand, Japan and South Korea, provided that they are not living permanently in Turkey and they hold a valid residence permit or visa for those countries if requested.
• Passengers who are transiting through Germany with transfer flights if there is no alternative route.  The only exception to this is for USA visa holders, who are not permitted to travel to the USA via Germany (only USA Citizens or Residence permit holders are allowed to travel via Germany to the USA).

All passengers who are permitted to enter the Federal Republic of Germany must provide proof of having tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 or Antigen with a test that has been conducted within 48 hours prior to entry into Germany. 

Only the following passengers will be exempt from the testing and quarantine requirements for arrivals to Germany.

-        Diplomatic Passports holders

-        Official Staff assigned abroad by the Republic of Turkey

-        Infants aged between 0-2 years old.

  oNationals of Kosovo who have residence another country which is have connection within 24 hours from Kosova exempt from quarantine for 7 days.
