Pegasus Plus General Terms & Conditions
Pegasus Plus, is a Pegasus loyalty program for earning flight points from flight tickets and non flight ticket services.
1. Membership conditions
Individuals who are aged 18 years and over are qualified to become members of Pegasus Plus.
Pegasus Plus members can also sign up individuals under 18 as ‘related’ members linked to their membership account. A new ‘main’ membership account is opened automatically by the program for those related members under 18, once they turn 18 years old. These members must fill out all mandatory fields required for the membership to become ‘main’ members.
2. Membership evaluation and the application process
People who want to join Pegasus Plus can apply by filling in the online form on our website, or via the mobile site; they can also apply by SMS, through direct marketing channels or agents and sales offices accepting these Terms & Conditions. Only members with Turkish Nationality and using a mobile phone number registered in Turkey can apply via SMS.Applicants who submitted the required information can activate their membership account either through SMS only if their mobile phone number is registered in Turkey; or through the activation link sent via e-mail.
For SMS applications, applicants should send their Name, Last Name and Turkish ID number to 7737 with a space between each item. The applicant should provide Pegasus with all the required information specified on the form within 1 month through flypgs.com or Pegasus call center. Once all the membership information is completed and membership process is completed, membership status becomes active.
During the period when the application has been made, but the required information has not been submitted, Flight Points can be earnt but not spent. In order to be able to use points, applicants must complete the application fully. By filling in the application form, applicants are accepting the Pegasus Plus General Terms & Conditions. They should read these carefully before submitting the form. A signature will not be required.
3. Combining applications
Individuals who have separate memberships in their own name can apply for their memberships to be combined. The applicants' mobile number is their membership number. Only one membership per mobile number is allowed.
Pegasus can combine Pegasus Card, Cepfly and Pegasus Plus membership accounts owned by the same member, without seeking member’s consent.
4. Validity of records
Pegasus is the sole Pegasus Plus Accounts authority, and is alone responsible for calculating Flight Points, preparing prize information and awarding prizes. In the event of a dispute, PEGASUS' records are regarded as the valid ones.
5. Calculation of Flight Points
5.1 Earning Flight Points
Points will be credited to members' accounts according to the rules of calculation valid during the period of time that includes their flight. In addition, PEGASUS has the right to make changes to the conditions relating to the earning and spending of points at any time.Flight points can be earned from domestic scheduled and international scheduled flights. Flight Points are calculated as 2% of the whole ticket price (including taxes and charges).
1 Flight Point = 1 TL.
Flight Points are also earned on 'non-flight ticket' product purchases. Such 'non-flight ticket' services are as listed below:
Seat selection
Excess luggage
Payment for reservation extension (Don't Miss This Price facility)
Pre-ordered meals
Carriage of sports equipment
Carriage of domestic pets
Flight Points for these non-flight ticket items are calculated as 2% of the cost, provided the member has actually boarded the flight.
Conditions for earning points:
- FlightPoints can be earned on Pegasus' scheduled international flights and flights within Turkey. FlightPoints cannot be earned on tickets carrying a Pegasus flight number if the flight is operated by another airline.
- Flight Points are earned only if the member boards the flight.
- Flight Points are not earned if the member has checked in but does not board the flight.
- Flight Points are not earned if the member cancels the ticket.
- If the member changes his flight, Flight Points are earned based on the value of the new ticket.
- Once the member’s flight has taken place, the Flight Points will appear in the member’s account within 72 hours of flight time.
- A member can earn Flight Points retrospectively by using the PNR (reservation) number for flights taken up to one month before membership is activated. Retrospective flight registration can be done through Pegasus call center and through membership pages on Pegasus web site flypgs.com
- It is also possible to earn Flight Points retrospectively for flights in the last 6 months of membership.
Main membership account will store all Flight Points earned by all related members under 18. The main member can use all Flight Points earned by the related members.
Members can also earn Flight Points with subject to Pegasus Plus programme rules, on purchases of goods and services from enterprises with which PEGASUS is in partnership. The partnership agreements operate subject to the conditions of the present Pegasus Plus programme. As PEGASUS is not responsible in the event of these enterprises not meeting their commitments or transgressing the terms of their agreements, it is also not responsible for any loss arising from these consequences.
Points will still be earned with the “cepfly” and Pegasus Card loyalty programmes, according to their general terms and conditions. For those who are members of more than one programme, points resulting from each membership will be collected into one pooled account either at member’s request or by Pegasus without member’s request Pegasus has the right to combine accounts without seeking member’s consent.Flight Points, which have been earned, shall be stored in Turkish Lira (TL). When payments are made in other currencies, Flight Points are calculated according to the exchange rate at the time of purchase. Exchange rate conversions are made according to Pegasus General Terms and Conditions.
Pegasus has the authority to calculate Flight Points and Pegasus reserves the right to make changes at any time, to the rules about earning and redeeming Flight Points.
5.2 Redeeming Flight Points
Flight Points can be redeemed on flight ticket and non flight ticket services purchases on only Pegasus website flypgs.com. If the member does not state at the point of reservation the details of the flight and services, Pegasus reserves the right to reject the use of Flight Points for the reservation.
Points are spent according to first in first out rule. Points earned first are the first to be spent. Minimum number of Flight points redeemed at any single transaction is equivalent of five times the transaction currency. For example, if the flight ticket purchase transaction is in Euro’s, Flight Points equivalent to a minimum of 5 Euro’s must be redeemed during a single transaction. If the transaction is happening in TL, Flight Points equivalent to a minimum of 5 TL must be redeemed.
Members can use Flight Points to purchase flight tickets and non flight ticket services, on any Pegasus scheduled flight subject to seat availability. Points collated can also be used for purchasing 'non- flight ticket' service purchases. Such 'non-flight ticket' services for which Flight Points can be redeemed are as below:

When using Flight Points in other currencies, the value of the Flight Points is calculated according to the exchange rate at the time of purchase of the flight and additional services. Exchange rate conversions are made according to the Pegasus General Terms and Conditions.
Pegasus has the authority to calculate Flight Points and Pegasus reserves the right to make changes at any time, to the rules about earning and redeeming Flight Points.
In addition Pegasus has the right to exclude specific price, payment and/or traveller categories, in part or in full, from the Programme, as long as members are informed about these beforehand.
6. Managing Credits in Flight Point Accounts
Every member has an account in which the Flight Points are recorded. These points cannot be transferred to third parties or other members. They cannot be combined with Flight Points from another member’s account towards a single payment.
Flight Points can only be used according to the Pegasus Terms and Conditions; they cannot be exchanged for cash, or for other goods of equivalent value. The use of Flight Points is subject solely to Pegasus’ rights of regulation.
Under the Pegasus Plus programme, any member will only earn points from purchases from partner enterprises in a formal contract with Pegasus, if the contract is operational at the time of the purchase. Outside that contract period, Flight Points cannot be earned. Announcements about all these campaigns can be found on www.flypgs.com website.
Members are responsible for following these announcements. Members can track their Flight Points by logging in their membership accounts on www.flypgs.com website or by calling the Pegasus Call Centre.
7. Validity period for Flight Points
Flight Points can be earned throughout the year. Flight Points must be used by the end of the second calendar year after the year in which they were earned. For example, points earned in May 2012 must be used by the end of 2014, or they will expire. Members can log in to www.flypgs.com or call the Pegasus Call Centre to find out information about points expirationPegasus cannot guarantee that seats will be available on the route or the date which a member requests until flight points expire. To use these Flight Points on a particular flight, the payment must be made before the Flight Points expire; reservation alone is not sufficient. If Flight Points are not used before expiration, members can not make a claim on these Flight Points from Pegasus.
8. Appealing Against Decisions and Amending Records
If for any reason Flight Points have not been credited to a member’s account after the purchase of a flight or non flight ticket services, the Flight Points can be credited in the next six months, provided the member can produce the original documents (tickets and boarding passes) relating to the flight and other services.
Any query regarding uncredited Flight Points must be made within six months of the flight, non flight ticket services or other activity related to the flight in question. Appeals cannot be considered after six months.
Pegasus is the sole arbiter of any appeal, and is the only authority that can decide whether a member is entitled to Flight Points or alter a Flight Points account. Pegasus will make amendments if it judges that Flight Points were credited falsely to a member’s account.
9. Personal Security Password
Each member will be assigned a membership number and password for use on the internet. The membership number is the member’s mobile phone number. Any transaction made using the membership number and password is considered to be made by the actual member. In order to maintain security and to guard against the misuse of this information, it is the responsibility of members to keep this information private and guard against access by third parties. Pegasus will only provide membership password to a member on request from that member, and Pegasus accepts no responsibility for the misuse of passwords by third parties. If the member suspects that their account information has been misused, they should contact Pegasus Plus authorities immediately.
10. Other Conditions
10.1 Relevant Legislation
The laws of some countries may place restrictions on the Pegasus Plus General Terms and Conditions. Pegasus has the right to take all necessary precautionary measures for complying with the relevant regulations. Members affected by any such measures will not have any right of complaint, demand, or right to compensation.
10.2 Misuse
Pegasus has the legal right to take action against anyone breaking the Terms and Conditions of Pegasus Plus, misusing prizes or giving wrong information for personal gain.
They are liable to have their membership of Pegasus Plus cancelled, and to lose all the points and/or prizes they have previously earned. Any prizes and Flight Points which have been claimed because of misuse contrary to the General Terms and Conditions will not be honored.
10.3 Limited Liability
Subject only to notifying members in advance, PEGASUS has the right to change the Pegasus Plus programme and/or the contracts of the partner companies created under this programme, wholly or partially, or to terminate the Pegasus Plus programme and/or the contracts of the partner companies created under this programme , without any liability.
PEGASUS cannot guarantee that the benefits of the programme will continue indefinitely, that the value of Flight Points will always stay the same or that Flight Points can be used an a specific flight desired by the Member.
Pegasus Plus is owned solely and exclusively by PEGASUS. If PEGASUS chooses to waive some of the rights assigned to it under this programme, or if Pegasus does not demand the member to fulfill any condition of the programme, or if there is delay in using the rights under the programme, or if additional benefits are given to the members through temporary additional actions that are against the programme principles, this does not mean that PEGASUS has renounced any or all of its rights. In addition, it does not mean that PEGASUS gives any additional rights to a member and it does not mean that Pegasus waives its right to demand the member to obey part or all of the programme rules.
The general restrictions of the PEGASUS Passenger and Luggage Carriage Terms and Conditions also apply to the Pegasus Plus programme members. Programme members who win a free ticket or redeem Flight Points in purchases are responsible for obeying the rules of passenger and luggage carriage general regulations.
If PEGASUS breaches the conditions of the programme, the company is only responsible for tangible loss, proved and assessed in court and not for indirect or moral loss. In these instances, the decision of the court is final.
Pegasus has the right to contact the Member for any communication related to the membership, promotion, advertisement and announcements using any of the contact information submitted by the Member. Members give the consent for Pegasus and its programme partners to contact them for communication of promotions, new route launches and other subjects, through the contact details specified by the members.
10.4 Right of Assignment
Pegasus has the right to assign the Pegasus Plus programme to partner firms or third parties. It also has the right to assign agreements that have been made with Pegasus Plus members to Pegasus Plus partners or third parties. Pegasus informs the programme Members about this assignment in advance.
10.5 Tax and Disbursements
Pegasus is not responsible for any tax liabilities or other expenses that arise as a result of free tickets awarded to the Members. It is the responsibility of the member who has received the prize to pay any such expenses.
11. Cancellation of Programme membership
If any of the conditions below apply, PEGASUS, can dissolve its agreement with the member without a prior notice and without liability for compensation with respect to FlightPoints or other obligation. In doing so, Pegasus reserves the right to claim damages and take any legal action.
If member does not comply with the General Terms and Conditions of Pegasus Plus
If member does not comply with PEGASUS Passenger and Luggage Carriage Terms and Conditions
If member gives wrong information to Pegasus, under any circumstancesIf member misuses Pegasus Plus programme against the programme rules and the law
If member displays verbal or physical violence, harassment or abuse against PEGASUS personnel or other passengers; failure to comply with instructions from a member of Pegasus personnel; causing damage or harm to the plane itself, other passengers or flight attendants, or to goods, or similar circumstances
In addition to the above conditions, if the Pegasus Plus programme is temporarily suspended or permanently cancelled, the membership is automatically terminated.
Pegasus can cancel any membership without reason, provided it gives seven days’ notice in writing . Members may cancel their membership at any time. If a membership is terminated for any reason, the member has no right to claim compensation except under the circumstances outlined in Section ‘Flight Points Validity on Termination of Membership’.
12. FlightPoints Validity on Termination of Membership
All the benefits gained under the Pegasus Plus programme by a member can be used during the 6 months from the date of termination after a membership has been terminated by either PEGASUS or the member, subject to the restrictions outlined. During this time, the member can use their available FlightPoints, subject to the conditions of the Programme. However, the member cannot claim compensation for any remaining FlightPoints that were not used during the 6 months from the date of termination.
If PEGASUS terminates a membership for valid reasons, or suspends or closes the programme, the member loses the right to use existing FlightPoints immediately as of the date of membership termination or the date that programme is suspended or closed.
13. Application of the law and relevant court
The interpretation, application and the resolution of disputes of the Pegasus Plus programme shall be interpreted in accordance the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The Execution Offices and Courts of Istanbul shall have jurisdiction in case of any legal dispute.
