The event started in 1993, which has a full title of the Golden Mask Russian Performing Arts Festival and National Theatre Award, is one of the most eagerly awaited Spring events every year. From opera to ballet, from modern dance to puppet theatre, many art forms are represented at the Golden Mask, which as well as presenting awards for the headline-grabbing artists of the season, also hosts a number of galas. The Golden Mask enables you to look at Russian art from a different perspective and is passionately followed by arts lovers.
