Express baggage is a free service that helps you to avoid queues and get to your flight more quickly by allowing you to drop off your bags at the Express Baggage conveyor belts. You can check in via our website, mobile app or the Express Baggage kiosks near the area F and G desks at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, then collect your label from the kiosks and attach it to your baggage before dropping it off on the Express Baggage belts.
You can also collect your boarding card from the Express Baggage kiosks or pay for excess baggage with your credit card so you don't have to queue at the desks.
Don’t forget, it's easy to use our kiosks by scanning your passport or microchip ID card if you have one.
All passengers departing from Sabiha Gökçen Airport on domestic or international flights can take advantage of this service.
First of all, you need to check in via our website or mobile app and get your boarding barcode, or you can check in using the Express Baggage kiosks in area F and G of the airport. The kiosk will issue you with a baggage tag that you must attach to the top part of your baggage before dropping it off at the Express Baggage belts.You do not need to check-in for using our Express Baggage service. You can also check-in at the Express Baggage kiosks.
Important: don’t forget to remove any old baggage tags from your luggage before dropping it off.
The Express Baggage service is available at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen, İzmir and Bodrum Airport.
Currently, the Express Baggage belts and kiosks are only situated at Sabiha Gökçen Airport in area F and G of the domestic departures terminal.
You can use the Express Baggage kiosks to drop off all the baggage included in your allowance up to your limit. You can also use them to pay for any excess baggage and continue to take advantage of the Express Baggage service.
The Express Baggage kiosks open 3 hours before flight departure time and close 45 minutes before it. Therefore, we recommend that you drop off your baggage as early as possible to avoid any undue problems.
You can drop off all types of baggage except sports equipment, baby buggies, wheelchairs, rucksacks, food and drink and anything containing forbidden items. For details about forbidden items, please see http://web.shgm.gov.tr/tr/yolcular-icin/3889-index.
Yes. There is no difference between dropping off your own baggage at the Express Baggage belts and handing them over to personnel at the desks. Our Express Baggage Belts are also monitored and recorded 24 hours a day.

Follow the steps explained at the Express Baggage kiosks to pay for any excess baggage with your credit card. Then, you can use the Express Baggage belts to drop off your bags without waiting in any queues.
Your baggage receipt will be sent to you via SMS after using our Express baggage kiosks. (your phone number should be up-to-date). You can also access your Baggage Tracking Receipt by entering your Last Name and Reservation Code at here.
