IS IT REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE MASK ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT?
All our crew wear protective equipment including surgical(medical) mask or FFP/N95 respirator mask’ without an exhaust valve and gloves. You must wear a surgical(medical) mask or FFP/N95 respirator mask’ without an exhaust valve at the airport and at all times on-board the aircraft, and replace it every 4 hours. Make sure you have enough surgical(medical) mask or FFP/N95 respirator mask’ without an exhaust valve and hand sanitiser for your entire trip.
When changing your mask on-board please follow the steps below:
Masks should be taken off by removing the loops from behind the ears, without touching the part of the mask at the front which is covering your nose, mouth and chin. If you have a reusable fabric mask, put it in a plastic sealed bag until it can be washed, or dispose of any other mask immediately into a bin.
Place your mask on your face, covering your nose, mouth and chin, making sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask, and ensure that the elastic loops are fitted over your ears. While wearing the mask, do not touch the front part that is covering your nose, mouth and chin. If you accidentally do, then clean your hands.
If your mask is damaged, dirty or wet, do not wear it and you must replace it with a new one.
Make sure you wash your hands with soap and water or clean your hands with hand-sanitiser after removing your mask.
