Children will be over the moon with Pegasus’ inflight surprise for birthdays
We ring the changes when flying by surprising our young guests.”
(Onur Dedekoylu, Director of Marketing)
Emphasising the importance Pegasus Airlines places on their young guests, Director of Marketing Onur Dedekoylu says of the new inflight birthday cake initiative: “Travelling for us means living life to the full. Family holidays are times when families can escape from daily routine and find an opportunity to spend time with one another, especially with children. We want to make family holidays an amazing experience. So we are giving our youngest guests an unforgettable memory by arranging a surprise birthday cake when they fly with us on their birthdays”.
Pegasus noted for projects focusing on children
Pegasus Airlines has launched numerous innovative projects highlighting the importance the company places on children. As the first airline to use “Ladies, gentlemen and dear children” in place of “Ladies and gentlemen” on its in-flight announcements, the airline’s much-loved safety demo, performed by children of Pegasus family members, has been screened inflight for a number of years.
World’s Most Wonderful Gift
The ‘World’s Most Wonderful Gift’ campaign was first launched in 2011 with Pegasus naming its new aircraft after the daughters of its guests. Last year, with a children’s drawing competition entitled ‘My Dream Holiday’, Pegasus continued the tradition of naming its aircraft after new-born daughters of Pegasus employees, or the Pegasus Family, by extending it to include Pegasus guests. The results were announced in September 2014 with the winner Ada Eminagaoglu’s drawing and name to be adorning a new aircraft which joins Pegasus’ fleet in March 2015.
Pegasus Café’s special menu for children
Pegasus Café’s menu, for guests who want to order their in-flight meals on www.flypgs.com/en before they fly, includes food specially prepared for children. Parents can order their children’s favourite dishes, including hamburger and chips, meatballs and pasta.
