Passengers must bring their pets into the cabin inside a box or cage (supplied by the passenger), which must not exceed the dimensions of 55x40x20 cm (As from 01/01/2019 animal cage sizes at our flights changed to 32x32x50) or total weight of 8 kg. Pets weighing over 8 kg in their cages must be placed in the cargo hold. It is essential to make a reservation for the pet you wish to travel with by calling the Pegasus Call Centre on 0 888 228 12 12. Yes, it is possible to bring a pet. First of all, you need to call the Pegasus Call Centre on 0888 228 12 12 to make a reservation for the pet you are planning to bring with you. Only cats, dogs and birds (on domestic flights only) can be transported on our flights. 'For more detailed information, please see the section Travelling with Pets' on the General Rules page.
If your checked baggage for the cargo hold is over the weight allowed by the flight package, you can pay for extra baggage up to 2 hours before your flight and costs are explained in the General Rules section of flypgs.com. In this way, you can pay less for your extra baggage than if you pay at the airport. You can pay for extra baggage when you buy your ticket or later on at flypgs.com. You need to go to 'Travel Services > Flight Services > Additional Baggage' and enter your reservation number (PNR) and surname. If the weight of the checked baggage you are carrying for your flight exceeds the total baggage allowance, you can pay for the extra kilogrammes at the airport.
If you pay for your extra baggage before your flight by going to Travel Services > Flight Services > Additional Baggage on our website, you will pay lower excess baggage fees than those charged at the airport. Pegasus passengers are encouraged to purchase extra baggage allowance in advance, as this reduces crowding at the airport and allows the flight to leave on time.
On both our domestic and international flights, free baggage allowances vary according to the flight package included in the ticket. An additional fee is charged for every kilogramme of baggage over the allowed limit. Passengers can also pay for excess baggage, at discounted rates, before the flight from all our sales channels. You can find details of our excess baggage charges in the General Rules section of our website.
Depending on the airport facilities, you can pay either at the desk or at a sales office. For detailed information about baggage charges, please go to Useful Information>General Rules> General Baggage and Portable Items>Free and Excess Baggage Information.
