A student passport is a travel document given to students planning to travel or study abroad. A student passport is issued to each student who meets the specified requirements. It is basically a maroon passport, but it is specially arranged for the students.
You do not have to pay any fees for a student passport. Students under the age of 25 are not required to pay the fees. At this point, you only need to be a student and at a certain age.
Students under the age of 25 must first apply for a regular passport through the Population Directorate in order not to pay a fee. Students who inform the desk officials at the time of the appointment that they are applying for a student passport are exempt from the fee. When applying online, there is no special option for a student passport. It is sufficient to choose a regular passport when applying for a passport. At this point, it should be noted that only students under 25 years of age will be exempt from tuition fees.
The same procedure applied to other passport applications is also applied to get a student passport. Passports can be obtained by going to the relevant provincial and district population directorates.
After applying, make sure that the following documents are completed at the time of appointment. To apply for this passport, just add a student certificate to the regular passport requirements:
Students under the age of 25 may be exempt from passport fees but students under the age of 18 can get a passport valid only for 5 years.
The standard time is between 5 and 7 days. Applications abroad are completed between 7-10 days. Passports are then delivered to their owners via PTT.
