A student passport is a travel document given to students planning to travel or study abroad. A student passport is issued to each student who meets the specified requirements. It is basically a maroon passport, but it is specially arranged for the students.
You do not have to pay any fees for a student passport. Students under the age of 25 are not required to pay the fees. At this point, you only need to be a student and at a certain age.
Students under the age of 25 must first apply for a regular passport through the Population Directorate in order not to pay a fee. Students under the age of 25 may be exempt from passport fees but students under the age of 18 can get a passport valid only for 5 years.
