Public Transport

Tehran has a metro line that operates between 05:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., carrying passengers across the city. Also, the Mashhad Urban Railway in Mashhad covers a 24 km route. There are also metro lines in Isfahan, Tabriz, and Shiraz that link the inner parts of these cities.

In addition to these major metro lines, there are inner-city buses that connect different cities in Iran.
