  • Shop at the Central Market/ Varvakios Agora: Located between Athinas and Eolou Streets, the Central Market is worth paying a visit in order to explore the local bazaars in town. You can find freshly produced vegetables, fruits and fish while trying some of the most delicious local flavors. Do not forget to buy souvenirs! 
  • Panathenaic Stadium: Also known as Kallimarmaro, Panathenaic Stadium holds the reputation of being the only stadium made completely out of marble in the world. It was originally built in 329 to celebrate the Panathenaic Games. The Stadium can host up to 50.000 people and it’s still used for big events held in Athens. 
  • Enjoy the city view from Chapel of St. George: Situated on top of the Mount Lycabettus, Chapel of St. George is easily accessible with the funicular. The white coloured Chapel of St. George or as referred by the locals Agios Georgios dates back to the 18th century.
